This unbearable sadness....
This is a "blog" I wrote in 2016 that documented, to varying degrees, my struggles with painting; specifically, the transition from figuration to abstraction, which was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Recently, I migrated my website to a new platform, and so the dates do not reflect the actual writing itself, only the day I worked on this particular migration. There's simply too much work to do to fix dates I never cared about to begin with.
